It has been ages since I've been to Payless Shoe Source. I used to go all the time back in the day so I could have more shoes for less money. Now that I don't shop much at all, I just don't really go anywhere at all.
Until...I have been wanting Jordan to have a cute pair of white shoes to wear with a few outfits. The ones I wanted were $30-35 at the stores I had seen them in. Um...NO WAY! :) Can't do it! So...I decided to check out the old Payless.
Look at these shoes I found for Jordan! They were only $12! PLUS, they were having BuyOneGetOne Half Off!!! So....Lawson got a new pair of fake Crocs, too! Both pairs came out to only $20!!!
I LOVE A GOOD DEAL! :)
Last night, Jon was sitting on the couch, legs stretched out after a long day. Lawson had gone into the playroom, chosen a book, and approached Jon.
"Daddy," he said, "will you make your legs into a lap so you can read this book to me?"

Lawson trying on a magician's cape
This clown's not so creepy, is he???
The elephants were Lawson's FAVORITE part!
Waiting for the show to start!
Shelby the clown!
Jana the clown!
The trapeze is my favorite thing at the circus. I was pretty impressed with this sequence of pictures I took--the skill of the performers was really unbelievable!

*Update*I took off the song...just in case it was driving any of you crazy! :)
Jon and I had a great time this weekend with our Senior Class and the rest of the youth group at the Fall Retreat. A lot of our adult friends were also there. I took several pictures, and a lot of them came out really good. I'm (hopefully) posting a slideshow of the pics...there are quite a few, so it might take a few minutes to get through them all. Anyways...If you watch, I hope you enjoy...I just wanted to get it up here so anyone who wanted to take a peek could...

Looks like we have a little singer on the rise...Lawson picks up songs in no time--he hears something and five minutes later he's walking around singing it. His favorite song is Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash.
Anytime we are doing something with our class, someone always tries to get him to sing...so I thought I'd post our little 'star'.
So...without further ado...

Yesterday was the FunFest at our church. It was a huge production with games, prizes, inflatables, a firetruck, hayrides and Trunk or Treat. Everyone who worked on it did a great job! We really appreciate being involved in a church that loves kids so much. Our family had SO much fun!
Mickey, Minnie and Pete!
The best "together" shot I could get.
Jordan was NOT a happy camper by Trunk Or Treat time!
