I decided to get creative today. I have six thousand other things to do, like dishes and laundry and the floors...you get the idea. However, I decided to sit down and figure out how do something I didn't really know how to do.
The green was starting to look like puke to me! I was sick of looking at the plain old blog, and when I started blogging I had intended to talk about some more controversial subjects, hence the old name. However, turns out I'm much to lazy to bother with that. I needed something brighter and 'cheerier'. I wanted to come up with a blog title that I felt was more representative of my life and how I feel about my life. Also, I wanted to include something as sort of an aspiration for myself and my life.
Earlier today I was looking through a book that I've had forever. It's a book written by Mother Teresa and is called The Joy in Loving. One of the pages had a copy of a note written by her own hand, the sentence at the top of my sidebar.
Keep the joy of loving Jesus in your heart and share this joy with all you meet especially your family.
Let us pray.
God bless you,
Mother Teresa
I haven't even read this book, but that statement really struck a chord with me. I want to strive to know and love Jesus better this year, and I want to share that with everyone I meet. Most importantly, though, I want every action toward my family to be blanketed in that joyful love.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:12

Hey..I just wanted to say thank you for coming to the demo the other day. It was nice to see some familiar faces!
I am digging the new look and title. You did a great job! Feels like I have not seen/talked to you in forever. I hope that things are well and I look forward to catching up with you at Bunco soon and doing a better job in the future of keeping up with you guys!
Whoa! I like the new look. Like the new "theme", too. God bless your efforts to share the joy and love of Christ. I can't think of a more worthwhile goal.
Cool! I like the new look! It took awhile for the header to pull up on my slow computer, but I love it! I have read that book and it is great!

I love the new look! I was just telling Corey that I am ready for a change too. Maybe it is the long winter months making us all want to feel brighter! I hope that you have had a great day. Happy Birthday!!
The yellow is definately more 'you.' I love that picture of the kids; it's so sweet.
