This is my cousin!!

Preliminary note: This news story is about 4 men, none of whom the press has names for...therefore, it gets pretty confusing when they keep talking about this man and that man, etc!
The "19 year-old Mt Pleasant man" is my cousin. My mom called and told me that my cousin Larry was walking down the street with his friend when some gang members came and jumped them. (Not 100% sure that they were "just merrily walking along, minding their own business, staying out of trouble!")

Larry started fighting to defend his friend, and he ended up with a pretty bad beating, and he was stabbed 3 times. X-rays showed that one stab wound was less than 1 inch from puncturing his liver! He seems to be okay now--just sore and recovering.

This is not a good year for my cousins!! Just be glad you're not one!

I hope they found his teeth...

Sorry; don't mean to make light of it. Sounds horrible.

It's bad, but I guess since he's okay it's fine to make jokes??? :)
