It is easy to read a beautiful scripture and think about applying it to one's life. To be put in a situation where a faith is really tested puts a whole new perspective on things. God truly does provide all that we need--even if, like manna, it is sent one day at a time.
In the last three months, countless people have told us about their daily thoughts and prayers for us. Others have been there to hear me cry or be scared or angry. Others have taken us out to eat or sent food to us. All of these things have truly been ministry to our family.
I want to thank all of you who have been praying for us. We are so thankful that God has opened up an opportunity, and Jon accepted a job offer Tuesday afternoon! He starts next Friday to fill out paperwork, then Monday for work.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

God is so good!! That is awesome...congratulations on the new job Jon!! You both have been an encouragement and example to so many as you have worked through this over the past several months with great faith, courage, and joy!! It is so good to hear the news.

I am so thankful and happy to hear that something has worked out. I know this has been a tough time for ya'll. It's always hard to wait not knowing what God has in store...been there. We have been praying for ya'll over the past few months. We will continue those prayers that this will be a good situation for Jon and for your family. Thanks for being a good example to us of how to handle adversity. We love you.
