Strawberry Shortcake

I love it when strawberries come into season!!! We love strawberries around here! Plain, on cereal, dipped in chocoate or on shortcake!!! This year I have started making my own shortcakes and they are yummy!! :) I snapped this picture of J the first time I made them a couple weeks ago--she had leaned down to lick the whipped cream and got a white nose and a little beard!!! It's worth it for a tasty dessert, though! :)

I love strawberries! You'll have to tell me how you make your own shortcakes. I love shortcakes, but I don't always care for the ones in the stores.

Hey! I use the recipe on the Bisquick box--but you add butter and sugar so it's sweeter than a biscuit! Seriously--it is so soft and crumbly--perfect under whipped cream and strawberries!!!
