Crash Course

So Jordan had her 2 year check-up today. While I was checking the diaper bag to make sure we had everything we needed, she was walking through the kitchen and accidentally stepped on a toy and slipped. She hit the CORNER of the WALL with her NOSE!! She instantly started screaming, and I was terrified that she had broken her face! I saw it from about 5 feet away but could do nothing about it. The scratch/bruise goes from the middle of her forehead to the bottom of her nose. TERRIBLE!! At least I was headed to the dr. anyways!! He didn't seem worried about it. This picture is about 4 hours after the incident. She has a bit of a runny nose, and a rash under her left eye....Tomorrow she'll probably have 2 black eyes!! Pretty much she's just a big mess!!!

BTW...she weighs 28 pounds (60th%) and is 34 3/4 inches (75th%) tall....But I think the girl was in a hurry on the scale and she really should have stopped it at 27 1/2!!

Man..poor thing! Scares me to death too, when something like that happens. Although, the timing was perfect. Saved you an extra copay.

Poor little girl! She looks like she is in pain. We will pray that she has a fast speedy recovery. They always seem to heal faster than we do.

How pitiful! I'm glad she's okay. Don't you know she had a headache?!

Oh, I am so sorry! There is something about this age that makes them so accident prone. I was afraid to take Will out earlier this summer for fear that someone would turn me in for child abuse. I am glad to know that all 2-year-olds go through this!

Poor thing! I hope she gets better soon. That looks awful! I'm glad she didn't break her nose, though.

Oh Stacy I am so sorry. It makes me hurt. I just hate when these things happen. They are going to happen though. Hang in there and take lots of pics because we all have one of our kids looking something like this. Hope she feels ok tom.
